Lead Youth Worker Bradford

We are looking for a relational youth worker to lead us as we re-imagine work with young people in Holme Wood. This role will take on the leadership of youth work across the estate on working for St Christopher’s Family Project who are working in a new partnership with St Christopher’s Church and the Salvation Army.
We are seeking someone confident in building positive relationships with vulnerable children and young people in challenging circumstances and able to design and initiate programmes of youth work of a variety of styles which are transformative of young people lives. We also want someone who can confidently talk with and listen to other professionals within the community and work with others to design and develop a future agenda for youth work through this partnership.
Through a separate funder we also have available 6 hours per week of family support work which will involve visiting and supporting families in their day to day lives aiming to develop their parenting skills through one to one and group support.
