We provide a wide range of learning opportunities through research, training and resources designed to enrich the work of local churches across the UK.
Please note CYM closed its recruitment to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in July 2024 and has remained committed to focussing on research, training and resourcing the church in its ministry with children, young people, their families, and communities, while exploring the future of the charity. Unfortunately a sustainable future has not been found and the Trustees have sadly announced that CYM will close at the end of August 2026. (Read the full statement here)

Our Research
We have a broad portfolio of research projects, all overseen by our Director of Research: Dr Sarah Holmes. We take on commissioned research projects, audits, reviews and evaluations; advise and support you in your research (such as designing and analysing surveys, focus groups, interviews); and carry out our own research projects – all academically rigorous, ethically sound and very practically focused. We work within the UK and also on some multi-national projects. Our current projects range from 3 months to 3 years, and we always seek to use research findings to directly impact upon ministry practice. Since we are specialists in youth and children’s ministry, we are always keen to include their voice and input. Every project is different and we are very flexible to meet individual needs.
