Taking the Pulse of Ministry across the UK...one response at a time

We want to capture the voices of those on the ground to help lead to positive change in UK ministry settings.

Following the huge success of our seminal ‘Taking the Pulse’ national survey in Spring 2024 (report available at bottom of this page), we have been amazed by the enthusiasm for the findings and insights provided by over 2000 responses from parents/carers, grandparents, paid and voluntary workers, church leaders, chaplains and those no longer involved in these ministries.

There seems to be huge demand for an ongoing project to monitor the mood and share insights about ministry every month during 2025.

How Ministry Pulse works...

1. You complete the registration form and we add you to our database.

2. Once per month we will send you three questions to help us build a picture of what's happening in your ministry area. Your answers will be anonymous. (Occasionally we will add an extra poll in the case of a special event or extraordinary news item, but there will never be more than two in a month)

3. Within three days of the poll, we will share the results with you so that you can see what everyone else is thinking.

4. There will be surprise giveaways of free books, Amazon vouchers and other goodies during the year for those who respond to our monthly polls.

Everyone who submits a response in January or February will be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 Amazon voucher!

Benefits of taking part in Ministry Pulse

• Have your voice heard – by responding to these three brief questions each month, your views will be part of bringing about positive change in UK ministry.
• Zoom out a bit – our monthly poll will help you to see the bigger picture and know what others in ministry settings are thinking and feeling. You’ll be part of the Ministry Pulse community.
• Be encouraged – as a thank you for sharing your views, each month you’ll receive some brief encouraging and stimulating content – so you can be inspired without too much hard work.

Want to ask our Ministry Pulse community a question?   

From September 2025, we are able to take requests for specific questions your organisation may want to ask. We will help you to formulate the question and decide the timing for optimum insights. The question can be open or closed. We guarantee at least 1,000 responses and will get the results to you within 72 working hours.
