This course is designed to empower young people with confidence in the foundations of their faith - the story of Jesus. Designed for young people, young leaders as well as those in ministry, it takes you through who Jesus was and why His life was, and still is, so important.

Why is the story of Jesus is still changing lives 2,000 years after it was written?
This overview of the Gospel of Mark explores the identity, life, teaching and power of Jesus and the ways in which it still empowers young people and adults today. The course is particularly useful for young leaders and those leading ministry to understand the core of our faith and explore why the Good News of Jesus is so central to life in and beyond the church.
Tutor
Dave Horsfall is a tutor at CYM with a focus on biblical studies and theology. He is also the Director of Leeds School of Theology, an associate lecturer at St Hild Theological College and a PhD student in Theology at Durham University. He loves studying and teaching theology and biblical studies.
